| Randy Steinberg |
Randy Steinberg, Principal of SJA Strategies, has thirteen years of experience in public relations. Steinberg successfully managed Mike Feuer’s campaign for the California State Assembly in 2006, leading him to a seventeen-point victory over a highly-regarded and well-funded opponent in the primary election.
Steinberg was Vice President of Marketing and Communications for CADFORCE, an architectural services firm, where he obtained coverage in publications such as BusinessWeek, Forbes.com, Big Builder, and the Los Angeles Business Journal. He was also instrumental in establishing the company’s new corporate identity.
An accomplished publicist, Steinberg represented large companies such as Centex Homes, John Laing Homes and Kor Group while working as a senior manager at Roddan Paolucci Roddan Public Relations. Steinberg garnered publicity for these clients in key media outlets such as National Public Radio, KABC-TV, KCBS-TV, the Los Angeles Times, Orange County Register, Daily Variety and the Hollywood Reporter.
Prior to his position at Roddan Paolucci Roddan, Steinberg served in Mayor Riordan’s Office of Economic Development, where he facilitated the revitalization of underused manufacturing sites in the San Fernando Valley, including the former Van Nuys General Motors plant.
After leaving the Mayor’s Office, Steinberg formed Steinberg/Allen Communications in 2001, working with clients including Home Depot, Growth Capital Associates, Selleck Development Group, Valley Economic Development Center and Mission Community Hospital. Steinberg provided media relations and government affairs services to these and other clients, and quickly gained a reputation for achieving results.
Steinberg holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and a Juris Doctorate from Tulane Law School. He was recently appointed to the West Hollywood Project Advisory Committee by a vote of the City Council. In addition to other community activities, he is active in the Los Angeles-area Choate Rosemary Hall Alumni Association.
